A friend and I are going to cycle around Ireland.
We're looking for someone (or someones?) to drive a support van.

You wont need to follow us all the time, just drive on to the next town and be available via phone if we run into problems and need gear from the van (eg. we need a new tire)
You can do you want otherwise, go sightseeing or whatever.

The benefit of this is you get to see all of Ireland on the cheap. The downside is that the cycle starts on May 20th and ends on June 20th (in Dublin, Phoenix park for both) so you'll need to commit almost a month to it.

We will work out the rest of the details between us.

    More details..

Be aware that you will need to provide motor insurance for the volunteer who drives your van. Most policies exclude vans under the 'driving other cars' clause so it's highly likely that your volunteer driver's policy will not provide the required cover.

Id guess they're tourists and its a hire van, so just name the driver on the rental.

Then you didn't click on the link the OP provided.

    Thread closed by me.

You should try the Cycling forum where it would be better suited.

    Thanks,
