    Hi,

Is there a place in ROS that I can get the notice of self-assessment for years past? I can only locate 2015 but need 2014 and 2016 as well.

I've been looking on Revenue Record but can't see it anywhere. I need them as proof of income for the bank as I'm applying for a mortgage soon.

    Thanks
    John

Go to Revenue Record, Document Type, Income Tax and then Self Assesment Letter (this has changed name in the last few years, but i can't recall what they've been called). Don't forget to tick the Archive option.

2016 might not be available yet unless you've filed early.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I can't see anything in the dropdown as self-assessment. The closest I can find is P35L but there's only 2015 and 2016 and neither can be exported as per the letter I already have for 2015.

You'd think this would be easier!

Are you the business owner John?

The P35L is a breakdown of your P35 for the year detailing individual employee pay and deductions for that year.

Just go through the options in the document search option in Revenue Record after picking Income Tax. There should be a list of about 10-15 different documents in there (what your looking for may not be called Self Assesment as the names have changed over the last few years, one year i think it was called an ITSA)

You may not have access to these documents if an accountant filed your income tax return under their Tain number in the the years your looking for.

    Hi,

Yes it's my business but there's one other employee so perhaps the P35L isn't the best document type to me looking for. I've exhausted all options at this stage I believe.

I tried PAYE Anytime there and although I can see gross pay and total tax for each year, there's no option to print or export. Which is stupid if we're being honest.

    Ok try these steps

Revenue Record - Inbox Messages - Search Using Document Type - Tax Type (Income Tax) - Document Type (ITSA Full Agreement Acknowledge = 2015)(Self Assessment Letter = 2014 & 2013).

You are not looking for the P35L, that only gives you the salary and deductions to those employees who were given a salary.

Thanks for looking this up on your side.

I only have PAYE/Emp as an option in the document type - there's no income tax section.

Within PAYE there's no ITSA option or anything like that...

If you don't have an option to view Income Tax documents then you are not linked to that tax type under your Tain number.

Do you have an accountant who files your Income Tax returns? Whoever files your Income Tax returns will be able to print the required documents for you.

Thanks I think you're correct. My accountant has always filed my income tax returns for me so that must be why it's not showing. You'd think it would but anyway, have asked my accountant to get them for me.

Thanks very much for your help!
