Abroad weddings

    Just wondering if anyone on here is getting married abroad? I'm getting hitched in Portugal in September in Quinta Do Lago! would love to hear how everyone is getting on and what you feel the challenges have been?

    I have to say the response has been great so far...most people are really happy to get a little holiday (or so they tell me :D)

    I am getting married abroad. I am really looking forward to it. There is about 20 going in total. I found my immediate family very negative about a wedding abroad. you swear we were going to space. they had concerns over food and silly things like isles. apparently there is no isle in the country we are getting married in.!! But at the end of the day someone is always going to be complaining so might as well please ourselves.
