Walker Saorview Box in Border Area

So recently set up the folks new Saorview Box. Fortunately they live in an area where they can pick up both Ire and UK stations, unfortunately the UK stations, both TV and Radio have been tuned in no particular order, not grouped and very random, as if they are added to the EPG as they are found, the Irish Stations are in order, TV followed by Radio.

Tried a retune, this time, on UK set up, UK stations now in order, TV followed by Radio, with the Irish Stations then in no order.

Is there a way during set so that the Ire stations can be set, followed by the UK, all in order with Radio at the very bottom, without going down the manual sorting (if this is even possible).

I think a manual sort is your only option, my inlaws live in Wicklow town and receive freeview, channels have to be manually sorted on a Walker. I have a Sony tv and in fine weather set auto tunes in freeview channels in no particular order.

Unfortunately not, this is how digital receivers act when receiving terrestrial TV from 2 different regions, in this case Irish Saorview and UK Freeview services.

An Ireland set receiver will see the UK channels as out-of-region and store them in the 800s as found and vice-versa for a UK set receiver.

Previous posters here in a similar situation recommended setting the receiver to UK to store the Freeview channels in the correct order and manually sorting the Saorview channels into your preferred locations in the epg, easier to do it this way as there are only a few Saorview channels to be moved. Saorview subtitles, if required, may be disabled using this setup.

That sounds like a plan. Thank you very much.
