Medical card application

So I'm 21, I work full time at minimum wage (yippie), but i still live at home with my parents.

So i need to know if i check "yes" or "no" to "are you financially dependent on your parents" on the online medical card application form.

I've done it both ways. If i check no and enter my weekly income (approx 360 after tax) i am deemed not eligible.

If i check "yes" and enter my disabled parent's medical card number i am deemed eligible. But i am not asked of my income.

So I'm assuming i should check "No" and I'm not eligible but i've gotten various opinions so I'm curious as to which is correct as i don't wish to provide false information.

(Googling the question only returned posts by kids that hate their parents but need their money 😂)

    Thanks for any help

I probably put this in a completely unrelated category apologies

Wrong forum. But you're subject to a means test as you're financially independent. Your income after rent/mortgage/childcare/transport to work has to be below €164. It's all on the Citizens Information site.
