Business vs Domestic issue

Before Irish Water I was billed as a commercial customer by the local county council because I have a few acres of land (even though I do not farm or run any kind of business and my consumption is only a fraction of the domestic allowance). When Irish Water arrived on the scene I was told I had to register with them because I have a house and therefore I am a Domestic customer. Fine, I registered and paid Irish Water. However the bills continued from the Council and when I queried it I was told you are still a Business customer and have to pay. Irish Water also say I have to pay and both play dumb about two authorities charging me for the same water supply. So I stopped paying until it was resolved.

Recently Irish Water took over the Business side from the Council, so now there is one authority involved and the buck passing can stop. I emailed Irish Water 2 weeks ago detailing the issue (and sent a follow up email a week ago) but no reply whatsoever - not even an acknowledgement of receipt.

I saw the response time on Boards is stated as 5 hours so let's see if I can get any answer here. I will provide account numbers etc. by PM.
