I am open to any advice, we are looking for a 7 seater, middle row must be individual seating, decent leg room in the final 2 seats, not to concerned about boot space. Not to concerned whether it's a MPV or SUV. We do about 1000km a week so it needs to be good l/100km. We have a budget of about 35k, looking for something above a 13 reg.

You dont say if you want to buy new or second hand? You will struggle for 35k new to get a big car like you are looking for....

You also are limited to Galaxy/Alhambra as mentioned above but you can also look at Sharan from VW

All diesel and will do the same job....depends on price and preference for interior design

With everything you said and scoped I think Grogi has summed it up!

If you want proper space, then this might be an option. It's basically a van though, but a nice van.

    8 seats, 2.0 150bhp

Fuel economy might be a thing, but it's €280 tax so it can't be that bad?
    Think they're €41k for a 2.0 starting and €4K scrappage.
    There's. 1.6 for €39k minus scrappage.

    Toyota Prius+, it's a 7 seater, from €36k new. Combined driving (litres/100km): 4.1 - 4.4 litres/100 km

Looks to be 7 individual seats...

They're small enough inside, kinda Corolla verso size only not as tall.

Friend has one and loves it, very small. The 2 back seats are for very small kids at best

I'd like to bring your attention to the "decent leg room in the final 2 seats" requirement. Prius+, as brilliant it might be (although the interior quality is moderate to say the least), definitely does not offer that.

There's also the Toyota Pro-Ace and Peugeot Traveller (insert your own joke here) versions of that, so worth pricing all 3 versions if it's of interest.

I've been in a LWB mid spec Toyota version and it was a very good minibus. Better than the Transit we had in round the same time.

Would probably be in the same segment as a Tourneo Custom would it? At least the doors won't fall off.
