Our first match of the new season ended with a comprehensive 2-0 victory over Cork Exiles. We've had some good battles with them over the years but we were very strong on the pitch tonight and they didn't really cause too many problems. The addition of a few new lads has been great and it looks like we have the making of a good team. On a sourer note, Paul C was injured and had to be taken to the Hospital by Ed at half time. We all wish Paul a speedy recovery.

    Starting XI was
    Craig
    ---
    Martin Guillermo Paul Barry
    ---
    Dave John Paul C Robbie
    ---
    Steven

    Rego

Keith came on for Paul C. We played well tonight so hopefully we can kick on from there. I think the pitch at Colmcille's suits us well.

Solid win, we played ball very well and really limited their chances to long range efforts.

Guillermo played very well and really imposed himself on their strikers
