First of all I will be bringing it to my mechanic at the weekend but I'd like some opinions before that in case its only a wheel/tyre issue that I can get sorted easier and quicker.

It's a 99 TDI and the shaking started last week, I work in a quarry and on a particularly dusty day the car wouldn't start without giving the accelerator a good few pumps thats when I noticed the shaking, at idle/coasting/low speeds its shakey, at high speeds nothing whatsoever, fuel efficiency is the same, if I leave my foot on the brake it shakes slightly, handbrake and in park very little shaking if any.

Any advice? any noises to listen out for etc?

    Thanks
    Mick.
