I'm guessing there's a salient point or two missing from your OP. As an owner occupier you don't pay/charge rent.

    Are you asking about rent-a-room?

Ya I thought Rent A Room aspect was obvious given the forum. But yes Rent A Room.

The RPZ legislation does not apply if you are renting a room in your own house to a licencee.

The RPZ also does not apply if the property was not let during 2015 & 2016.

Are you renting a room in a person's home? If so the pressure zone laws don't apply as you are a licensee and not a tenant.
