need a "do not copy" key cut

    Hi i'm looking to make some duplicate copies of a key that is marked "do not copy". its for a padlock so i can bring padlock with me. I am the owner of the lock. Will i have issues with getting this done? Any recommendations in south dublin to get the keys cut?

    There is no legal requirement for key cutters to not copy this key. It is merely a suggestion in attempt to control the number of copies in circulation. Some cutters will say no and some will say yes.

    Just go into a few key cutters. One of them will do it.

    Norman in the Paint Pot will cut the keys for you if you can show you own them / lock.

    Just bring the lock in and he'll cut them on the spot...did them for me many times.
