Tracing Marriage Record

    Hey there,

So, I've found a 1935 marriage record in the Massachusetts, Marriage Index, 1901-1955, and Ancestry helpfully suggests:

Search for other records listed with this location, year, volume and page

however, that brings up over 84,000 entries. I've tried inputting the Index Volume Number, 109, which reduces the entries to about 9,000.

I've also tried inputting the page number, 298, but I get no results. I've also tried inputting the volume number 48, but again, no luck.

The record I have is Anne Marie Higgins, I just want to see can I narrow down who she married...

    Any ideas??

That's not much help to you, is it?
I've checked FMP but can't find mention of it there.

It doesn't look like they've transcribed the volume and page details (v48 pg298) - if you could search on these you could look for a cross-match.

    Was she born in Ireland?
Do you know any parent's name?
I'm thinking a census search for 1940 with an Anne Marie born in Ireland. Tedious but possible.

Thanks Spurious. Nope, she was born in America. As I say I have her on the 1930 Census as part of her family, but they all disappear in 1940 Census....I presume in her case she got married, but tracing it is the challenge..
