    Hi,
Has anyone had or been to a wedding reception in the Sugar Club on Leeson Street? Looking for some info on it as a venue. Thanks.

What did you think of it? Was thinking of possibly renting it out and having the food and party there.

Just curious to hear any info on it.

Good fun, very unusual venue (the ceremony was on the stage). Best suited for a younger, less traditional crowd I would say.

Mingling after the ceremony was a little trickier than normal as everyone is sitting in aisles (it is a theatre, basically) so it would be a case of having to file up and down the rows of seats to get near someone.

Food was catered by an outside company, as far as I know. Cocktails were made on-site, though, and were plentiful and popular.

    Cool! Thanks for the info.

Yeah we've been to the venue before for gigs/events and loved it but we were thinking would the mingling after be tricky and/or awkward in the venue after Ha!
We also were concerned about everyone having to go up get their own food and sitting at the small tables but it sounds like that wasn't much too much of an issue for you.

    Thanks for the reply :)
