This new channel is starting this week. Anyone have the "co-ordinates" to add to other channels.

Not scheduled to launch until May 24th. Manual tuning details have yet to be announced.

According to STV it's launching on April 24th - "STV announces that new channel, STV2, will launch at 1700 on Monday 24 April to viewers across Scotland."

As it will be replacing STV Edinburgh and STV Glasgow, it's possible it will be on the same satellite frequency - 11479V 22000 4/5.

Whether it will be free-to-air is another question. STV Edinburgh and STV Glasgow are encrypted and not available on an Irish subscription.

RTE are happy bunnies selling back catalogue of Fair City to the new channel .

Wasn't there one time they were too busy making money out of the show, to not transport it?
I take it they're now short of a few bob?

How far back i wonder are they starting to show it from?
Is there a Sky other channel code for Stv2 ?

It's going by the same code as posted above:
I've tried out the code below as it had a different FEC, but still encrypted:o

As i found out additional details on tuning in ITV/STV Channels

    Including:
    Scotland
    STV2 (from 24th April)

    Frequency: 11479
    Polarisation: Vertical
    Symbol Rate: 22000(22.0 Mbaud)
    FEC: 5/6
    Mode: DVB-S, QPSK
    Service ID: 50894

***STV2 will take over the broadcast slot used by STV Glasgow. Until 24th April, you will see STV Glasgow on these parameters. ***

Does this channel actually work on other channels. I'm just getting a blue screen when trying to watch it.

No, it's not free to air and it's not available on an Irish subscription.
