It's been a few years now since the thermodynamic solar panel systems became more popular. Many sceptics voiced they're opinions..

Curious to see if anyone has come across, or can show, actual running costs for their hot water using these types of systems. A quick Google search doesn't give much but commentators in the UK seem to have become more positive towards the technology.

I have thermodynamic solar panel and hot water cylinder and am very happy with it to date. It's installed almost a year and a half.

I still haven't got around to monitoring the running costs yet. I have to buy a meter plug for monitoring electrical usage but I don't think it's much in reality.

Always hot water at all times of day, night, rain, sun etc. No issues at all with the system, very happy with it.

Running costs in electrical costs are in the region of about 35euro per person, but as I said I haven't had chance to confirm this for definite but based kn my electrical bills I would say this is pretty accurate
