Enclosing oil burner

We are remodelling kitchen that has an oil burner inside.
We are considering enclosing the burner within a timber stud, leaving sufficient ventilation to one side of structure for the burner. Wall controller will have to be installed to control the burner as the existing controls are on it's front panel.
In addition, we are considering an electric flat panel wall heater to heat the kitchen on occasions when burner is not on as kitchen is often cold.
Firstly, is there any obvious issue with building a removable timber wall around the burner with vent to room left in stud structure?
Also any issue with locating electric wall heater in close proximity to burner, for example mounted on new stud wall?
