    Hi guys,

Is the Cambridge dacmagic xs compatible with the iPhone 6? Would I need many leads to connect the lightning port to the micro USB? Thanks!

    Hi Big Hungry Bear.

It does say it compatible with PC and MAC but no mention of iphones.

There are various ligthening to mini UBS cables and connect available out there but there are something I'm not 100% on as its not something we would stock.

Here's a link to the manual:
    http://www.richersounds.com/static/manuals/xsdac.pdf

It looks as though you need to install drivers etc... which i don't think will be possible on your iphone.

You could use an Audioquest Dragonfly priced at £89.00

The use the dragontail at £15.00 which coverts USB to micro USB and then purchase a lightening to micro usb connection.

A bit long winded but does work.

Let me know what you think.

Any questions please drop me a post.

I was looking at the dragonfly, apparently you can use it with an Apple camera adapter instead of dragontail so it would be an option. I'm mainly using Spotify on my iPhone with either momentum in ears or momentum over ear. Would the dragonfly make much of a difference with streaming music and Netflix on the phone? Thanks!

The Dragonfly Black or especially the Dragonfly Red are transformational products and pretty much anyone that has ever heard them agrees:

    https://www.whathifi.com/audioquest/dragonfly-red/review

The Red is significantly better and is great for driving difficult headphones as well - I'm not sure what currency you are purchasing in but they are excellent value at the moment in Euro as the Dragonfly Black is just €94.99 including shipping at the moment:

The Dragonfly is also super value in euro as its £169+£6.99 P & P in Sterling and just €189.00 in Euro ( again the € price includes shipping) :

Thanks for the posts and again - the difference when you use the Dragonfly is simply amazing!
