    i thought this tree was a maple but looking at the leaves im now certain it is not. anyone know what the is?

    Looks like a willow. Would be better if we had a clear close up of a leaf but bark colour and texture remind me of some willows.

    Might be dogwood/cornus. A large shrub rather than a tree. Wouldn't rule out willow but more inclined to dogwood.
