The ones that just don't suit you...

My top 2 are Inglot Hd foundation and Mac foundation.
    Neither like me much. 😂

I bought the Elizabeth Arden prevage foundation last week..65e and I really don't like it..feels too thick or something..the assistant offered me a tester but of course I refused because I just wanted to buy something.I've found cheaper ones like l'Oreal to be much better tbh.

Yep I use bourjois all the time:)

    I also despise Pantene shampoo.

I got the Lancôme eyeliner with the telescopic brush/handle and found it pure crap. Went to try it again last week and it was dried out, in the bin it went!

    Mac Studio Sculpt foundation

Ouai shampoo (gave me awful dandruff)

Inglot HD foundation. It was lovely on me for my grad ball but I'd tan on for that. I now hate it. Too dark, went on patchy and just... weird no matter what I did! Gave it to my sister in the end!

Mac prolong wear. I am using it up because I hate waste but it does nothing for me at all and I resent how much I paid for it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,405 ✭✭✭Airyfairy12

Charlotte Tilbury magic foundation, it was a mess on my face, clinged to dry patches I didnt know I had and magnified tiny marks on my skin, separated like crazy too such a shame as the colour match was perfect.
Too faced born this way foundation, bright yellow and separates.

Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser, gave me acne

Double wear foundation. Like actual cement on my face. Awful

Rimmel mascara. I've yet to find one I liked. Either too wet and stuck my eyelashes together in clumps. Or a very dry formula which flaked off after an hour. To be honest I haven't tried one in years!

I love their 7 days body lotion, light weight but makes my skin supple!

Have never got on with their facial skincare or haircare and I'm not a particular snob when it comes to these things!

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo. I really wanted to like it after reading loads of good reviews but it made me break out terribly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 830 ✭✭✭cactusgal

Benefit They're Real mascara, total overpriced, average product.

Anything by ELF. I'm in the USA a lot and have tried a good few of the products, but really find them rubbish.

Mac foundations... any I've tried caused breakouts. Inglot don't suit me either. Nor does a recent clairins foundation I purchased recently.

High beam highlighter from benefit. Difficult to blend.

Don't get on well with liquid lipstick either.

Anything by Benefit. Sh*te, overrated and overpriced brand

It's weird as a brand, gimmick central with infantile packaging.

Double wear looked like muck on certain parts of my face because it's so thick and dries so quick

It's funny how things work for some people and not others- several products mentioned here I use regularly and love! Just shows the important of samples and trying before you buy.

Really? I am kinda their fan :D

    I don't like L'oreal superstar mascara :(

Bourjois foundations and concealers - I am very very pale and no matter which foundation or concealer of theirs I have tried (all in the palest shade), they come out yellow-y on me for some reason, ALL of them.

Double wear! I cannot understand the hype it's outrageous. My face felt like it was dipped in concrete and I looked like a doll, one of those creepy ones that would murder you while you slept

Two faced foundation was absolutely horrible - made me look so greasy and it was so expensive. Charlotte Tilbury magic foundation was awful as well - separated and was patchy. Mac foundations didn't work well for me either, too yellow and greasy. Another brand I don't like is Soap and Glory - none of their products worked for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,517 ✭✭✭Sunny Dayz

Not a fan of Soap and Glory either.
While I did buy into the hype a few Christmas's ago with the special gift sets, I think the smell of the products are too strong and sweet. They try to be like a budget friendly Benefit with their packaging.
I haven't been impressed with any of their make up - didn't like the mascara and their lauded Sexy Mother Pucker stung the bejaysus out of my lips.

I love soap and glory makeup! The glow all out powder is so nice, super cat eyeliner is so easy to use, their eyebrow pencil is also amazing, didn't like their concealer though and a good few of their items are only okay!

The only Soap and Glory product I use regularly is the Thick and Fast flash extensions mascara. It's my favourite mascara but know loads of people who hate it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,405 ✭✭✭Airyfairy12

Im in love with Soap and Glory, the conditioner is one of the best brands ive used, leaves my hair soft, shiny and smelling lovely, one heck of a blot replaced mac studio careblend for me, their lipgloss is the only brand of gloss I wear as its subtle, stays put and not sticky, their face washes are amazing, ive been hot cloth cleansing with peaches and clean and its cleared up my skin, love their scrubs, body creams and body wash too. The only product I havnt liked was the mascara.

Soap and Glory hand food - sugar crush - it didn't worked for me :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 62 ✭✭Pippi Longstocking

Any of the L'Oreal shampoos or conditioners. Any I've tried really irritate my scalp and leave my hair quite lank

Inglot HD foundation too. Felt so tight on my skin like it clung to it and went very patchy and dry

The True Match Foundation. It says that it's suitable for oily skin. As an oily gal, the gold reflects emphasis my pores and it looks terrible.

Also not a major fan of benefit as I've grown older. It was great when I was a teenager however the packaging and products aren't up to the brands which are significantly lower in value such as wet and wild or nyx

I agree mostly but I do like their Coralista blusher. It works well on my skin.

I have got Lancome Hypnose mascara before as a present. Useless! Any Mac foundation I've tried. They all look orange on me.

Aveeno moisturiser. My Mother swears by it but I don't thinks it's moisturiser enough..

Clinique skincare. Doesn't do anything for me.

Bobbi Brown foundation. I've tried 3 of them. The only foundation where I can find a perfect colour match (Sand) however they all just melt off my face after a few hours. So overpriced!

Lots of people say they hate Double Wear but I love it! I only use a tiny amount and mix it with moisturiser and it never looks cakey. I've a friend though that used it for a while and it always looked very cakey. I don't know if she used too much or was it her skin type. I often try out other foundations but always go back to it.

The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation looks nice enough on but breaks me out unfortunately.

I'm very pale so I have a love hate relationship with Foundation.
The first 'palest' Foundation I found was Mac studio fix fluid, from there I moved to makeup forever and then finally Kat Von D launched here and they have so many pale shades I'm in love, but when I went to finish my old Foundations I didn't realise how orange they made me, even with the palest shades and how thick they were on my skin.

Also benetint, I loved posie tint and cha cha cha but when I use benetint on my lips, it stains my teeth pink!!! Even when I leave my mouth open to let it dry, it gets in there!

Mac foundations - ive tried three seperate ones and hated all of them.
Thou not technically beauty, any of the sap and glory body products. I find them too perfumey and make my skin come out in rashes
