Hi I'm apply for shotgun license for clay shooting, just wondering what do I need put down for section 4.2 Adequate explanation as to why this specific type of firearm is required. Thanks

Always put down your reason for wanting the firearm on a separate sheet for why you want the gun even if it's obvious to you it's for clays they just think a shotgun is a shotgun....I'd even do it at renewal time so they can't refuse u for "not having a good reason for owning the gun"
