Consider me a novice at this craic, employing a builder to lay 120 4" blocks - extending the height of garden wall.

He's said I should buy 120 blocks and a tub of mortar.

    1) wtf is a tub of mortar and how much should I get
    2) where's the best place in North Dublin to buy and get 120 blocks delivered

    Thanks

Yellow pages or google local concrete products/ready mix suppliers.
A tub of mortar can be got from the same source, no need for a tub as they will supply a plastic bag for it.

Why not get the builder to organise it...he will have his regular supplier....you could pay cash on delivery.

That way - at least you know what is ordered & delivered is correct...if not then the builder can sort it.
