So this is the second film in a relatively short time to deal with the attempted assassination of top ranking Nazi Reinhard Heydrich in Prague in 1942. Anthropoid being the first one.

This one has Jack O'Connell and Jack Reynor in the rolls played by Jamie Dornan and Cillian Murphy in Anthropoid. Must be something about the Irish that screams Czechoslovakian.

This trailer looks more exciting than the Anthropoid one did, although it's a bit odd that some people seem to be doing accents while others are not?

Oh and it's based on the book HHhH by Laurent Binet which is really worth a read in itself. One of the most interesting and accessible history books I've read.

I find films which aren't in the original language hard to watch now, one of the reasons Downfall is so authentic and believable is the fact that people speak German.

I'd agree with that though I understand why these films are in the English language for mass market appeal all the same.

Anthropoid was quite good overall, though the accents grated on me - particularly Dornan's, found him pretty poor in the role and not nearly as good as Murphy.

Be looking forward to seeing this one to see their take on it, though I'd find it hard to shell out for a ticket given I already did so with Anthropoid not so long ago.

I think maybe if you're doing an English language film just have the actors use their own accents. Of course that can get confusing too if, as is the case here, you've got Irish/English/Australian cast members playing Czech/Slovak/German characters.

Wasnt overly impressed with Operation Anthropoid so hopefully this will be better. Had to look up imdb to figure out what the title meant. The release title will be "The man with the iron heart"

For anyone else wondering, HHhH is short for Himmler's Hirn heißt Heydrich, which translates as "Himmler's Brain is called Heydrich" which was apparently a popular saying in Nazi Germany at the time.

'Anthropoid' left me a bit cold, but I appreciated it's attempt to stick relatively close to the story. It's just terribly flat.

This is looking a bit more...overblown, on the other hand.

Rosamund Pike doesn't do characters that you can sympathise with, does she?
