Why is Ros not working today

Well, I get that the civil service is closed down today, after trying to get through to three separate offices. But I made a return on R0S and I went to print it off and it says the ROS inbox item is not yet available please try again in the next business day. But it is a computerised system. have they built in off days on…

What difference does it make to a machine what day of the week it is?

Don't know anything about it, but many IT systems require human intervention to validate or review transactions at key points.
