Selling a truck online

    Hi,

We have an old vintage truck which we have partially restored - mechanics mostly, cosmetics all to be done inclduing respray.

We are considering selling it on as we have too many other things and it is no longer a necessity that we have this vehicle.

I think that selling it on in this state would allow someone to pick up a nice project and they can detail it to the level they desire and would save us the investment - which might not be to the correct level -too much/too little depending on the person and their usage plans.

My question is where would be the best place to sell this truck? We are looking at eBay as we are not in a hot zone for Done Deal (NI). Having not sold anything on eBay are the classified ads on eBay best for selling vehicles or are the auctions still okay for this?

Also, any alternatives on the vintage scene to place an ad such as www.carandclassic.co.uk?

    Thanks.

No matter what I think start with DoneDeal, it's reach is huge and for the small outlay it provides fantastic results.
