    Hi,

Anyone come across this before, a client is looking to maintain existing water supply and to also get a new metered supply from the mains to the same site.

Is this a simple chat with IW or is additional planning needed?

    Cheers

Not a planning issue to me.

Down our end if it's a reasonably big customer IW will engage directly but if it's just a domestic house they will say to follow the procedure of contacting the Local Authority as a point of contact. It might differ in your area.

Hard to know what their thoughts would be having two connections to the same place. No harm asking!
