Psychology conversion course: UK vs Ireland

    Hi,

Does anybody know what is the difference between a UK psychology conversion course and an Irish one, apart from the Uk being only one year and the Irish one being two years?

I spoke to someone in Nuigalway about their one, it's 16 hours per week of lectures/tutorials etc. I'm comparing that to the conversion course in Northumbria uni in UK - it is two days full-time per week, so approximately 16 hours too, yet one is a two year course, the other is one year.

    Any input appreciated!

    Thanks.
