Huskies are not big dogs! Kennels book out very early for the Summer Holidays. Where have you tried?

I work in a kennels. (Outside Dublin). We are genuinely fully booked up months in advance.

Huskies wouldn't be considered big dogs at all really, they would be one of the breeds I love to see coming in because they are usually great personalities, enjoy the exercise and really get into the games!

I'd also say it's a great idea to pick a kennel you are happy to use rather than whoever is available. The quality of care can differ wildly. It's a great idea to develop a relationship with them too. I have a big old collie staying with me at the moment because he's been visiting the kennel for years. When his owner called in a panic needing a space for a few nights I offered to take him home rather than leave him stuck.

So anyway my point is; I doubt it's your dogs breed so don't worry. Maybe just try booking a kennel you're happy with, for a later date :)
