Worth trying to optimise signal or leave as is?

    We have moved into a new development and eir arent bringing the fibrelines down for at least another 2 months, and virgin arent in.

    at the moment im stuck on 4g.

    Luckily there is a 3 mast not 2 minutes walk away, not so luckily where my router is currently situated (and around the house in general it seems) i only get 1 bar reception.

    Now that should mean that i get bad speeds, but during the day i see maybe 12mb down and 10 up and late at night i can see 40mb down and 14mb up.

    Router is the new Huawei B525 by the way.

    So, am i likely to get much better speeds by trying to optimise the location / signal or should i just be glad its as good as it is

    Nope, signal isn't your issue. Only reason to would be for 90Mb at 4AM.

    Just got 120 down on a speed test on Vodafone on my iPhone :D
