Good low profile trolley jack

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good low profile jack? I wouldn't need more that a 2 tonne capacity. I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount, I've gotten by with cheapo halfords jacks for ages, but my current low profile is banjaxxed and I'm wondering how much I'd have to spend to get a good quality one.

I'd go with a scissor jack, they are super low profile and I like the control the winding gives you rather than pumping in other jacks.

My suggestion is based on using it a few times a year.
Scissor jacks are by no means professional grade if you plan to use it most weekends.

I am a bit wary of going the scissor jack route. Maybe I'll buy one for the boot of the car, but I think a hydraulic trolley jack might be more what I'm after! Cheers for the suggestions though!

I mean this will only be something I use to jack the car onto jack stands for normal servicing. Only a few times a year, but I don't mind spending a little extra on something that'll last a good while.

Only thing a scissors jack is good for is throwing into the bin.
If find the Halfords low profile jack not low enough and doesn't raise high enough.

Best budget one I found was an Clarke aluminium one

I found one here, not sure about the quality but it's CE marked. Seller based in Tyrone, and free postage.
I don't think it's a quick lift one, but has some nice features like a locating light for the sill :P.

Do you have a garage or similar where you can store the jack, or do you stick it in the boot when not used?

T for Tools in Newry are actually doing deals on low entry trolley jacks this weekend!
I got a draper expert 70mm one last year off them for about 130 stg when the exchange rates were good and delivered the next day.

Thanks for all the recommendations lads. Really appreciated.

This will be stored in the garage, so no worries with it being big or bulky. Just want something reliable and of decent quality. I have the halfords low profile one which isn't the greatest, it doesn't lift high enough and doesn't inspire confidence.
