    Hi All,
Sorry if this the wrong place to post.

I promised myself I would buy my wife an eternity ring on the birth of our child, now 17 years later I am ready to actually commit !!

Any jeweller recommendations, bricks and mortar or online ?

    Thanks
    RG

Is it going to be a surprise for her? Personally I'd like to be there to make sure it matches and sits well with the other rings. You could have a look a round a few shops get a few style ideas that match the wedding and engagement rings and then see if you can get them cheaper online? If it's a surprise is there anyway you could borrow them without causing her panic when she sees they're missing? :pac:

Hubby wanted to buy me an eternity ring to mark our 15th Anniversary. He knew me well enough to tell me and come to the Jewelers with me to pick out my own! Needless to say, the one he wanted to buy was NOT what we ended up with! I opted for a sapphire and diamond, 9 carat gold and wear it the whole time, but on my right hand.

The day felt like the day we got engaged all over again! Very special.

Sorry to highjack this a little but could I get opinions on which would be preferable as an eternity ring. The cost of both would be the same.

    1. platinum band with 18 pavé set diamonds totalling .14ct

2.18ct white gold band fifteen diamonds .27ct

Obviously aesthetics come into this but purely on specs which is preferable?

    Thanks a lot

Do most women choose jewelry on specs?

Please get her involved, definitely a bad idea to buy a ring because the "specs" are better, it's not a racing car

I really depends on personal taste. Some like to go "dainty" on an eternity band while others may prefer a "blinger"
