Hi. A question for anyone who has had this fracture.i got it in a car accident. I was in hospital for a week. Scans said it was a stable fracture . No surgery required. Have to wear a back brace for 12 weeks. Am now in week 4. The last 2 mornings about 5am I Woke with a lot of pain. The pain till now has been fine but now in the mornings I have to get up, take painkillers. It's a pain that is in my back but feels like it comes around to the front and sides not unlike stomach cramps. I guess my question is does this type of fracture get worse before it gets better. I feel more sore now than I did 3 weeks ago.
The fracture clinic I was at were quite vague with their info
    Thanks
