Saving a word document as PDF

    I must save a word document as a pdf for binding.

    Will this change anything with regards the word document - layout etc.

    No, it shouldn't.

    Edit: Even if it does, saving it as a PDF creates a new copy so you'll still have the original word document anyway.

    HI OP

    it can change some formatting features.
    It can change the way the document prints.

    But usually normally formatted documents look no different when saved as pdf.

    Best to save as pdf, then proof read.
