    Hi

I have a triton t90z electric pump shower. When it's running it sometimes goes cold then hot again a couple of times during a shower. Sometimes occurs if longer shower or 2nd or 3rd persons shower.

I read triton Q & A section and tried advice ie took out filter and cleaned, flow seems ok water doesn't dull through shower, strong flow when on cold and redues slightly as temp turned up. Tank in attic is full.

Living in a hard water area lots of lime. Cartridge on lime wizard changed recently.

Any advice welcome or is there any part i can change or is it time for another shower unit? Thanks.

If its going cold then the heating element is probably losing power.
Have you checked all the wires leading to the element to make sure they are secure. Turn off the power to the house or this circuit before you go messing with the wires.

Take out the heating element canister and clean all the lime out of it . You could get half a cup of lime. Make sure you know where all the wires go before doing this so that everything go's back as it should. Only complete this if you are comfortable with electricity and very basic plumbing.

Thanks. I ran a strong descaler through the canister for awhile so I'll see how it goes the next few days.

For me, this always happens when the shower head has limescale in it.
Hopefully you have the original shower head... which can be opened up and cleaned out.
If not, I recommend you replace with one that can be opened. You can get them in Woodies etc for about 30-40... the cheaper ones can't be cleaned properly.
I have done this many times and it has always worked for me. I have never cleaned out elements etc.

A new element is about 80 euro to buy. Fit a new element and you won't need to clean the head for years.
