Hello I'm planning on starting Athlone IT in September, I don't know anyone else going so I'm nervous. Anyone else starting or if you are there what's it like?

Hi! I started Athlone IT in September. It's good, most people are friendly but I find it can be a bit lonely if you don't mesh well with the people in your class or live with randomers/people you get on with. There are a good few clubs and societies but not much choice unless you like sports or specialised subjects. Any other questions feel free to ask!

The only place where I can do Microbiology for less than 500 points lol. AIT is good though. It will be fun. I just had my graduation today, so I'm officially a free man. Well until the dreaded Leaving Cert

Yeah I'm sure it will be. Though it's going to be hell the first few days cause I'll be missing induction I think as I won't be in the country on that date lol. Just my luck
