I have some Photinia planted at the end of my garden and I want to prune in such a fashion as to train the plant to become more bushy, so that I have a screen at the end of the garden (see photo attached with photo 1 = what I currently have and photo 2 = what I want to achieve)

I would need detailed instructions as to how to prune and also where exactly to make the cuts.

Keep trimming the top AFAIK - most plants want to grow up, if you keep the growing tips cut back the plant will divert its energy to filling outwards by growing more side shoots.
