KOTOR Remake/ Remaster

Rumors coming out of Bioware Austin that this has been in the works for a while:

The game apparently began as a remake of KOTOR but has now evolved into its own thing, although what exactly that "thing" will ultimately be isn't nailed down yet. Roberston described the project as "sort of like wiping the slate clean," in order to embrace the new Star Wars canon.

I was mor ehoping for a KOTOR3, rather than a rest TBH....

So a reboot of Kotor??? Just make 3 ffs. I'd normally be happy with any single player Kotor news but bioware isn't what it used to be

Yep. I wish Apeiron was further along. Probably never get finished
That being said, I am playing SWTOR currently for the single player stuff, and it has scratched the itch :P

i have not heard of Apeiron, its a full on conversion mod? if there is a reboot in the works you can be sure they will get a cease and desist from ea

It is a full engine refresh, but you will be required to own a copy of the original to play. Not sure if cease and desist would apply, as they are not remaking it, and mods are already available for KOTOR. But I could be completely wrong. They seem to think it is legal.

hasnt stopped nintendo must look into it more, kotor is probably my #1 game of all time
