Hi all need some help I cannot seem to book an appointment in the Spanish embassy. Does anybody know if you can show you without an appointment for a visa application?

if you need a visa to go to the schengen area, which is the common travel area of all the main EU countries minus Ireland and UK, then you can apply to any country in the schengen area and its just as good as getting the visa from Spain. So maybe it'd be easier to get it through say netherlands, French or German embassy ?

Netherlands Embassy is completely busy at the moment.

I'd say Belgian would be your best bet.

Would you not be better off contacting the embassy themselves

I imagine most people reading boards will be Irish resident so will not require to attend the embassy
