    What's the story with the amount off sheep you can buy and sell in a year without been classed a dealer and having all that extra paperwork? Think I read somewhere before it doesn't matter as long as there in ur flock for a minimum off 3 months.... but less than 100 can be bought and sold in less than 3 months?? Doesnt seem alot?

    “dealer” means any natural or legal person who buys and resells animals commercially either directly or indirectly, who has a turnover of these animals and who within a maximum of 29 days of purchasing resells them or relocates them from the first premises to other premises or directly to a slaughterhouse not within his or her ownership;

    Often wondered about dealers. Do they aim to make a certain minimum amount on each unit twisted ? Sold some in mart the other day and reckoned dealer made €5 a head off mine, but don't think they always achieve this. Also guessing diesal is a big part of their overheads. Guessing they twist everything on in same day ? A lot of money tied up otherwise.
