Anyone know a carburetor guru around Drogheda or navan that could fine tune a weber carb? I have tried to tune it myself but I think it is still running slightly rich but I could be wrong. Thanks

Make sure everything else is spot on before going near the carb, valve and ignition timing especially, a clean air filter and all vacuum hoses are in perfect condition. Weber's rarely need any tweaking it's usually something else thats throwing it out of kilter.

Spot on advice. Be sure the throttle shafts are not sloppy in the carb body. This creates a lean air bleed as the shafts move, which you compensate by riching it up then the shafts move again and you're too rich. Weber are simple carbs . Try and tune for best vacuum
