    Thinking of seeing this.
    But is it any good.
Sounds like an interesting premise but it's getting mixed reviews. 19% on RT (which I only half trust nowadays).

    I thought it was tosh.

So, Table 19. A dull, boring, inconsequential comedy that is surprisingly rubbish for having such a stellar cast.

So a bunch of quirky yet good looking people are all seated at the table of the wedding thats at the back of the room or something. Throughout the day (or afternoon is it) they work out their various issues and learn life lessons that are really vague and stupid all while being hilarious (supposedly)

Or not. It did just pass the 6 laugh test, but mainly cos Stephen Merchant is really funny, and provides 90% of the comedy. Otherwise Anna Kendrick is boring, Lisa Kudrow does the thing she always does but which is also boring. The guy from the grand budapest hotel has nothing to do and thus is also... boring. The rest of the cast really have nothing to do with a bad script and scenario that really isn't utilised very well.

The story is rubbish, the life lessons are vague and meaningless, the humour isn't there, and the cast are terrible boring except Merchant. Blegh, what a waste of time and energy.

No realism and for a film of this nature you have to have some otherwise people won't be able to relate to the characters.

Overall it's a cringe fest from start to finish and a predictable one at that.

Thought it might be good as I like Kendrick and Merchant.
    Thanks anyway.

Merchant's scenes were certainly the best thing about the film.. but just not so good that it could make the film worthy of recommending.

If you have an unlimited card sure go and take a look anyway. You can always walk out :)

Craig Robinson and Stephen Merchant are not good looking. The old lady?

This film was terrible, despite what their agents think, none of the actors at "Table 19" (besides Anna Kendrick, maybe), are big stars. Besides lacking decent comedy, the film also lacks star power. Lisa Kudrow and Craig Robinson did not seem like a realistic couple, they didn't work together at all.

The main reason I checked this out was because of the Duplass brothers' involvement, but I've only really liked things written by just Mark. Creep (2014) and Blue Jay (2016).
