Hi guys, My usual road running shoes are out of stock but the GTX version is available. A waterproof Gore-Texâ„¢ upper seems to be the only difference in the description. I'm never owned a shoe like this before so not exactly sure what it means. Would it make the shoe heavier? Would it be a bad idea to use this type of…

My only experience is of gtx kinvaras and they were pretty much the same as regular kinvaras, if that's any help to you.
