I have an apple tree in my back garden. It's got to a stage now were it's a bit tall and is over hanging my neighbours garden. It's about 30ft at its highest and the branches span about 12ft. The neighbour doesn't mind because she uses the apples herself for tarts and I do the clean up when it's leaves shed. I'd like to cut it back a bit but I don't really know how to go about it. I don't want to do any damage. Any tips on how I should tackle this?
