Building anew

    So that time has come, going to be upgrading and building myself a new rig so thought I'd throw a thread up here and see what people suggest. Have a pretty decent idea of what I will be getting but always open to see what others have in mind.


    1. What is your budget? 1500-2000

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming, VR, Video Editing, FX work

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No, going to keep that for a media center

    5. Do you need a monitor? 3 but I plan to get thouse outside of the 1500

    5a. If yes, what size do you need.

    5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? Will be 4k

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Nope

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Considering it

    8. How can you pay? Credit card, paypal, etc

    9. When are you purchasing? Within the next six months

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? All good
