The crack near the towing eye?

Is that the towing eye cover area.
    5 or more owners.
A fair bit of wear on the steering wheel.
Check nct cert for previous mileage record.
    More dents on wheel arches.
Sellers other ads - showing paintless dent removal service.
Need to check if timing belt was done.

Sticker on the back is probably hiding something.

TBH it has all the hallmarks of a trade car bought for next to nothing.

Or the sticker on the back bumper. Knowing who is selling it, it's probably fine, but that was a trick a mutual friend of his and mine used to do to cover up cracks or gouges in the bumpers.

If it's an issue now only buy the car if you intend to fix it after purchase.

Not at all. I bought a 2003 E200k for nearly half the price of anything in its range 2 years ago. It had a crack in the rear bumper and the crash bar was dinged. I got a replacement crash bar at the scrap yard and had the bumper repaired for small money. Car served me very well until I recently sold it.

Big thank you to all who replied will not be buying that car now after your feedback.

Would this be a better choice

I'm guessing all these fiestas will need a timing belt soon

    Says few "Age related marks"

    Mileage a bit high?

    Good deal for 2006 car?

    Thanks

Those 1.3 Yaris are great yokes. No timing belt either.

Are the chains ever likely to break?

Would the 136,000 miles put you off?

Would you hope to get it for less than €1750?

    Sorry for all questions

They wouldn't ever break, but if the car was neglected, it might rattle.

    Cheers Colm,

Would you go for the lower mileage 04 or the cheaper higher mileage 05?

Prob the 04. The seat belt in the 3 door is a bit of a pain

Also that '05 Yaris changed owners in Feb. Part-time Trader ???

As an aside the wife had an '01 Yaris for 7 years or so. Gearbox went at 110k but I replaced that myself (€180 from Scrapyard). It's a known, but not very common, issue with them and not something that I'd worry about.
Probably the best 1 litre car out there from the 00's.
Only thing she didn't like about her's was the fact it was a 3 door......5 door would have been a lot more practical.

edit: sorry just spotted now that the '04 Yaris mentioned is a 1.3.
