Hi all, I'm working on an idea for a board game and rpg cafe here in Dublin and was looking for any input from my target audience. I am an avid D&D player, mostly on Roll20, but would love a place to play in person. That being said I would love to see if there is any interest in this type of establishment. My main idea would be to run it as a membership club, probably like €20 for a table and everything you'd need to play.

Hi Gavan. Former normal cafe owner here. Played DnD for the first time yesterday in The Clockwork Door. Loved it. I'm happy to tell you the pitfalls of cafe ownership and how to market it etc if you want. (Free obviously!)

Second what brianblaze said: The Clockwork Door rents rooms and tables and it is a really good place, with friendly staff. DnD became very popular recently so definitely there's need for that type of establishment.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I will check out the Clockwork Door, see what their setup is like. My big issue is trying to find info on regulations for use of buildings. thanks for the response guys.
