Signal boosters?

Howdy. Are BB signal boosters any use and if so, do you have any recommended ones? We have BB with VF (tied to them for the next 10 months) and the signal strength reaching my TV dreambox can be poor by times. Looking at ways to boost it until the contract expires. Tks.
