    Hello,

A pp notice has gone up on the site beside me. The proposed ffl is 1.6 meters above my ffl, im not overly happy about that, but my main question is related to the boundary wall. Currently they are proposing to build a block wall one meter high for the boundary fence between our properties, I understand that I can go ahead and build a wall up to two meters in height without pp now. My question is would be it be strange for a person to make a submission requesting the height of the boundary wall be increased to three meters in height.

    thanks

    2m to the rear
    1.2m to front.

There's an ancient method of dealing with this. Speak.
Talk to the site owner, discuss their plans and see if they realise the concerns. Do all this before the observation period expires, that way if you can't get on with them or agree then you still have an option to lodge an observation.

These guys will be your neighbours so best to start on a good footing, although if it was me lodging, I would have k Ickes into both neighbours before now.

OP: tough to make sense of all the different dimensions:
As kc has indicated its 2m for rere, however in your case the interesting question is from where is the 2m measured, your side or theirs, given the apparent delta in heights

thanks for the response, it would of been better all right if they had popped in with the drawings before hand alright.  I believe that the 2m will be measured from the lower side.
