Looking for some advice on lawn seed . Last week we over seeded the garden because it went patchy and no sign of any new grass starting to grow . We spread good topsoil over existing grass just about an inch. Any ideas appreciated

Just asking the same question myself!

Yesterday, after 11 days, nothing. Today the first shoots are appearing. It's still a bit cold so it will be slower. I've sown in the summer and I've done first cut after two weeks.
