Samsung TV Problem. Seeking comment from technician

    Four year old Samsung TV Model UE32F5000AKXXU problem.
    TV is working fine. Screen suddenly goes blank as tho' switched off.
    Samsung logo appears for about 1 second and then screen blanks again.
    This pattern continues to repeat. Remote control has no effect.
    Looks like TV is trying to reboot.
    Powering on/off, pulling plug has no effect.
    THEN
    For no apparent reason the TV starts to work again. Runs for a while.
    And then the same fault returns.
    As I write this the TV has been working fine for about 5 hours!!

    Would appreciate comments from experienced techies, please.
    Bin it? Shake it? Open it up?
