    1. I paid my Irish Water bills, will I be entitled to a refund if charges are abolished?

    The decision regarding the refund of water charges is currently being reviewed by the Government. As soon as a formal decision has been made, we will let our customers know.

    2. I am not an Irish Water Commercial customer but have received a bill for a Commercial premise?

    If you are an Irish Water Domestic customer, but have received a bill for a Commercial premise, please send us a PM with the below details and we can investigate:

    - Name;
    - Address;
    - The Account Number from the Irish Water Bill; and
    - Confirmation that you are the named account holder.

    3. I am planning to build a house and looking to connect the property to the public water mains and sewer. Can you provide the location and levels of the pipework in the area?

    Please see wtr.ie/Connections for more information on applying for water and wastewater connections to homes and businesses throughout Ireland.

    As part of Irish Water's process, we would recommend that customers contact the Planning department within their Local Authority, as they would be able to provide further details on the location and levels of the domestic pipework that would enter a property within a certain area.

    If you would like us to contact the relevant department for this information, on your behalf, would you mind sending us a PM with the following details:

    - Name;
    - Location of the proposed property; and
    - Contact number.

    4. My landlord has requested a copy of one of my Irish Water bills. How can I get this?

    We can certainly assist you with this. Would you mind sending the following details via private message:

    - Name;
    - Address;
    - Contact telephone number and;
    - Confirmation that you are the account holder.

    Alternatively you can contact us on 1850 448 448.

    5. My water supply has been discoloured for the past three months and is undrinkable. Can you help?

    Would you mind sending us a PM with the below details?

    - Your name;
    - Address and;
    - Contact number

    Once we receive the above, we can investigate the discolouration of your water supply further.
